Propaganda Corporate Social Responsibility
Propaganda operates within strict social ethical corporate guidelines and acknowledges its responsibility of its business conduct.
Propaganda also acknowledges the impact it has on the environment as well as the local communities where our goods are bought and sold. All measures are taken to protect both the environment and people who are directly effected by our business activities.
Understanding and accepting Propaganda Social Policy
Anyone who supplies goods or services to Propaganda or who wishes to supply goods or services are expected to respect and actively share our principles. Propaganda will not trade with any corporation whose business activities contravene this policy.
Legal Responsibility
Propaganda expects all of its operations, suppliers and their subcontractors to
obey national as well as regional statutory requirements of the countries in which
they are operating for all their activities. However, Propaganda understands
these laws as a minimum standard and expects its suppliers and employees to
operate with the highest moral standards.
Human Rights
Propaganda believes in the philosophy of the United Nations Universal
Declaration of Human Rights and we are committed to maintaining this ideology in
our policies, procedures and practices. Respect for human rights continues to remain
the cornerstone of our decision making.
We will endeavor to co-operate with business partners who conduct their operations
in a manner that is attuned with our key belief in the respect for human rights and
ethical conduct. We will work with our clients to ensure that the process of fulfilling
their promotional requirements does not infringe anyone’s human rights.
We proactively ensure via random inspections that the operations of our
suppliers do not counter internationally accepted human rights conventions. Propaganda will not use any supplier that does not sign up to and operate by these principles.
Child Labour
A child in this context is a person younger than 15 years of age, or 14 years of age in
accordance with the exceptions for developing countries as set out in Article 2.4 in
the ILO Convention No.138 on Minimum Age.
Propaganda bases its child labour code on the UN Convention on the Rights
of the Child, article 32.1. We recognize that children have the right to be protected
from exploitation economically and from partaking in any work that is likely to be
hazardous or to interfere with their education, or to be harmful to their health and
detrimental to their physical, mental, spiritual, moral or social development.
Propaganda will not co-operate with any company that is involved in child
labour. All companies that deal with Propaganda are expected to respect
children’s rights and to wherever possible help children develop themselves in fields
such as education, sports and to develop into good members of society.
Supplier Monitoring and Enforcement
Propaganda regularly makes random inspections of our Chinese and Far East factories to ensure they continually comply to Propaganda ethical business practices. Any factory that is found to be in breach of their corporate and social responsibilities are given 5 days to rectify the breach and will be re inspected throughout the following six months to ensure that no further breaches occur. If they are found to be in breach again any time after the initial breach Propaganda will cease trading with them and depending on the nature and severity of the breach report them to the appropriate authorities.
A code of practice of ethical standards is to be prominently displayed in the local language in all Propaganda factories.
The Environment
Propaganda is committed to operating in an environmentally friendly manner. It will take all steps to ensure that all goods bought and sold reduce its carbon footprint.
Propaganda expects all its suppliers to operate using similar Green ethics.
Fair Trade
Propaganda is a fair trade supplier and always tries to source products from Fair Trade suppliers.
Local Communities
Propaganda is fully committed to supporting and assisting the local communities.
All surplus stock is offered free of charge to local and national charities.
Charitable contributions
Propaganda believes in making charitable contributions to the local communities in which it operates. It has made regular contributions since 1998 and hopes that it has made a difference to those recipients.
Corruption and Incentives
Propaganda will not accept or offer any inducements to a third parties that could be considered bribery. Propaganda will not offer or accept bribes in any form whatsoever. Propaganda will only offer corporate incentives and gifts in accordance with other company guidelines. Propaganda will seek written permission before it or any of its employees offer incentives. No financial monetary or similar enticements will be given to third party organisations or to individuals from such organisations in any circumstances, including government agencies and representatives.
Propaganda's goods and services will be supplied strictly and solely on the basis of the quality, price, performance of its offerings.
Employees cannot accept gifts, money or entertainment from individuals or third
party organisations where these might reasonably be regarded as likely to influence
transactions and decisions. All gifts other than minor ones with a minimal value,
will be returned. Group incentives that benefit all Propaganda employees may be offered but with the prior consent of management.
Competition
Propaganda will always compete in a fair and ethical manner. Propaganda will compete for business in a ethical and moral way.

All Propaganda employees will endeavor to conduct themselves in a socially responsible manner and uphold Propaganda corporate values at all times.
